All visitors must report to the main office where they may be given a visitor’s pass.    Visitors are expected to observe all school rules.  TVHS has an obligation to provide a safe environment for staff and students.  To this end, it is essential that visitors be recognizable and accountable.  The school will assess each request for visitation individually.

The central door by the walkway is the entrance used for public access to the building.  Visitors are required to come to the office once they enter the building.

  • Visitors/parents are not to visit within the school unless a visitor pass has been issued from the office.  Visitors are subject to the approval of the office.
  • Should someone arrive at the school to contact a student, the office will make the contact with the student.
  • Notes are required for high school students to sign out from school; however, middle school operates with a CLOSED campus.  Parents must arrive at the office in order for middle school students to be signed out.
  • Student visitors are to be confined to noon hours in the cafeteria only.  There is to be no classroom visitation.
  • Visitors are expected to leave the school immediately, if they behave in an unacceptable manner.

If a visitor is the guest of a student, the host student will be held responsible and accountable for his/her guest’s behavior.
